Piece Name: Pick Your Churn Dash

Artist: Myra Martin, NC

The individual churn dash blocks were made by members of two different bees, an internet bee called Aspiring Quilters and my afternoon bee here in Raleigh, which means that the blocks are from quilters all over the country and Raleigh as well. I finished it in April of this year after collecting the blocks for several years. My afternoon bee was very helpful in contributing ideas to the overall design and Tess finished it off beautifully.

Piece Name: The Crazy Therapy Quilt

Artist: Kerri Frischknect, Herisau Switzerland

As I work hard in my job, and at home, I decided to get together with an old friend once a week to sew. We used to do this years ago when our kids were little. This weekly "therapy" was really good for me, and got my mind off work/etc. I am very pleased with how this quilt ended up. The quilting (by Tess) is just great, as well.
